Owner, Kenna , started Cut 'Em Up Tree Care of Delaware in 1995 after working in the tree care industry in Maryland for several years. Originally from West Virginia, Mr. Nethken began his working life in the coal mines of West Virginia before beginning work in the tree care industry. He is a registered Certified Arborist with the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) (https://www.isa-arbor.com/) and has over 40 years of tree care experience.

Our company has recently been contacted by local homeowners who have been scammed for tree care related services. One homeowner paid $20,000 for tree work to be completed only for the "contractor" to take the money and RUN. Do not pay for services up front without knowing the company you are dealing with. Our company does not require payment prior to completing the work, so be sure to ask for proof of insurance and proof of Contractor Registry BEFORE agreeing to have work done at your home.
